For my final SheCodes project, I had to build a Dictionary. I decided to create a minimalistic dictionary. Because I wanted to challenge myself, I used a different API than used in class and searched for an API that gave illustration options rather than photos.
Project 5 - Landing page
For my 5th project, I had to build a landing page about something or someone I am passionate about. Because I am a fan of Pedro Pascal, his work on- and offscreen, I decided to build a page surrounding him.
Project 4 - World Clock
For my 4th project I had to build a landing page with a dropdown menu that showed 4 different cities. It had to show the actual time and I had to make sure it updated every second.
Project 3 - Weather App
For my 3rd project I had to use an API to build a Weather App with a search function. I had so much fun designing and building it, it made me confident that this is indeed a job I would love to do when I'm done with the course. Later we also had to build this app but in React, which you can also find in my GitHub.
Project 2 - Dark Theme Website
For the 2nd project I had to build another landing page for one of our hobbies (I decided on D&D) that included a button that, upon clicking, switches the page to a dark theme.
Project 1 - Hobby Landing Page
For the very first ever coding project I build, the assignment was to build a landing page based on your hobby. I came in with no previous experience, no knowledge, so I was nervous and a bit scared to start. But within a few hours I fell in love with coding and decided to sign up for the full SheCodes course.
